Privacy notice
How we collect, use and protect your personal information, in plain English.
Who we are
Digital Flex Solutions is a trading name of WebSupportServices (UK) Ltd (company number 08463736). We are the controller of the personal information described in this notice. Contact us at [email protected], on 01738 506283, or by post at 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU, United Kingdom.
What we collect
- Details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, business name, website address and anything you write in a form, email or call.
- Client records: if you become a client, the contact, project, billing and payment details needed to deliver and invoice the work.
- Technical information: your IP address and approximate location, which Cloudflare provides when you send a form, used to stop spam and abuse.
- Website analytics: how visitors use the site, collected through Google Analytics only if you accept analytics cookies.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal: your consent, given in the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- To deliver services and invoice them: to perform our contract with you, and to meet our legal duties, for example keeping accounting records.
- To keep the site and forms secure: our legitimate interest in preventing spam, fraud and abuse.
- To understand how the site is used: your consent, which you give or refuse in the cookie banner.
- To send occasional tips by email: your consent, only if you tick the box. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with suppliers who help us run the business, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Cloudflare, for website hosting, security and form protection.
- Our email delivery provider, to send your form to our inbox.
- Google, for website analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Our customer relationship management (CRM), accounting (Xero) and payment (Stripe) systems, if you become a client.
- Partners who deliver part of a service you have bought from us, such as call handling, and only the details they need.
Some of these suppliers store information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to two years from our last contact, then deleted.
- Client and invoice records: six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as UK tax law requires.
- Email tips: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another provider. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Counting enquiry actions
We count when visitors tap our phone number or email address, download a document or send a form, so we know which pages help people get in touch. This count stores the page, the action and the country, but no cookie, IP address or anything that identifies you. Turn off counting on this device.
Cookies
See our cookie policy for the cookies this site uses and how to change your choice.
